National Student Day
Thursday, October 3
The 49er Shops Bookstore is once again hosting National Student Day (NSD)! The celebration will be held in front of the Bookstore from 11am to 2pm on Thursday, October 3rd.
The activities planned include prizes and raffles, along with visiting Non-profit organizations and CSULB organizations focused on community service and social change.
NSD is a day dedicated to recognizing and celebrating student
social responsibility and volunteerism. At the 49er Shops, we think this is a
great opportunity to support our students and highlight those that are making a
difference!
If you are a student who volunteers, visit the National Student Day webpage to submit your story! The three most
popular stories of student volunteerism will win scholarships of $3,000,
$2,000, and $1,000. Additionally, 12 stories will be selected at random to win
iPad minis!
