The inside track for Shops employees
Graduation Information Fair
If you are graduating this year and want to know more about WHAT to do, the 49er Shops will be hosting the Annual Graduation Information Fair. Whether you’re a senior or a freshman, it will be an amazing event to learn more about potential graduate school options, professional job and career opportunities, cap and gown rental, purchasing of graduation announcements, and much more. Along with allowing individuals the ability to purchase and order certain products, this fair is a one-stop shop for all your graduation needs. There will be refreshments and prizes, and graduating 49er Shops employees will be eligible for a free cap and gown rental as long as they are employed through the time of graduation.
The event will be held at the University Bookstore, located on campus, from Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 to Thursday March 21st, 2013 from 11:00AM to 7:00PM each day. Join the Facebook event page for complete details and updates about the event: http://www.facebook.com/events/422115314532795/

Hydration Station – Green Motivation!
Ready to get your hydration on and help reduce waste at the same time? You can now take your water bottles to the university’s newest hydration station located in the front of the Nugget, right next to the UDP. In case you haven’t seen these handy little helpers around campus, a “hydration station” is much like a water fountain – with the addition of a water bottle-friendly feature to fill up a personal water bottle.
If you’re looking for your next H2O fix, just head up to the Nugget, or visit one of the other hydration stations in the 49er Shops. There is a station located in the UDP between the Starbucks and Surf City Squeeze and another in the administration offices above the Bookstore, next to Accounting.
